The Philippine Council for NGO Certification or PCNC, a private voluntary, non-stock, non-profit corporation that promotes professionalism, accountability, and transparency within the NGO and non-profit sector in the Philippines, has granted Bahay ng Diyos Foundation Inc. the “Seal of Good Housekeeping,” valid for three years from it effectivity date of June 3, 2013. This recognition shall also help identify the Foundation to be “of good standing,” which funding agencies and partners, both local and foreign, may consider in their choice of which organizations to support.
The PCNC also has an agreement with the Philippines’s Department of Finance, under which it was given the authority to certify NGOs applying for donee institution status based on specific standards.
Bahay ng Diyos Foundation Inc. is now part of the global giving and fundraising network Ammado, a global network that provides the tools to connect, communicate and mobilize its members around shared values. Ammado’s unique platform permits people from all over the world to conduct all of their giving, networking and cause-related activities from one central space.
We have set up on Ammado our online fundraising to help rebuild the earthquake-damaged church of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish in Clarin, Bohol, and to help in the construction of an ‘alternate’ church for Santa Cruz Parish in Maribojoc, also in Bohol, while their main parish church is being restored.
